We’ve provided vehicles for thousands of people across the UK, and over the years, we’ve been privileged to play our part in cleaning up the car industry and the negative reputation it has held for too long.
However, we know we’re not the right fit for everyone. Years of experience in this industry have taught us that, and we’re happy to admit it. Our approach is designed for those who want a smarter, more personal way to buy a car. If that’s not you, we won’t take it personally!
That’s why we’ve put together seven reasons why you shouldn’t buy a car from us, to save you time and ensure you’re in the right place.
1. You don’t care about saving money in the long term
If you’re only focused on the upfront price and not the overall cost of ownership, we might not be the best match. We believe in helping clients make decisions that save them money in the long run, whether that’s through depreciation, running costs, or maintenance requirements. If that’s not a priority for you, we totally understand.
2. You want the cheapest car possible, even at the expense of it being the right car
It’s quite simple: If you want the cheapest car possible, we are not the best fit for you. Sure, you can always find a rock-bottom price somewhere, but the cheapest deal isn’t always the best deal. The pricing behind a new car is complex and can carry a huge amount of risk. That’s why it’s so important to focus on getting the right car for your needs, lifestyle, and budget, not just the one with the lowest monthly price.
3. You don’t want an experience tailored to your specific requirements
Some people prefer a one-size-fits-all approach, and that’s fine! But we pride ourselves on offering a unique service, backed by our integral ‘Fact Find’ conversations and thorough sales process. If a more personalised buying experience sounds unnecessary, then this process might not be for you.
4. You do not want to be actively involved in crucial stages of the sales process
We don’t just hand over a list of cars and say, “Pick one.” We involve you in the key moments of the process, so you feel confident in your purchase. If you want a final product that reflects all of your needs, you need to be fully involved in the process, and you will be rewarded for this.
If this isn’t important to you, you can choose from one of the 100’s of traditional dealerships up and down the country. They may seem more convenient at first, but you run the risk of your final choice not fitting your requirements.

5. You do not require independent advice
If you prefer taking a dealer’s word at face value, we might not be your people. Our job is to provide truly independent advice, ensuring you’re making a decision that benefits you. We are not tied to any specific funders or manufacturers. We are under no pressure to prioritise certain stock. All we want to do is help you drive away in the right car.
Our Relationship Managers go through at least 250 hours of training in their area of expertise before they speak with clients, and we then monitor ongoing monthly training. We also pay a 30-40% higher base salary than the industry, meaning when you deal with one of our Relationship Managers, you can be far more confident they can have your best interests at heart.
6. You only want to make quick decisions
Some people walk into a showroom and make a snap decision. That’s not how we work. We help clients weigh their options, compare the best active deals, and make informed choices. We understand a lot of you won’t have the time to sit for hours and ponder between which model to go for, but in our experience, giving a little will save a lot down the line.
7. You don’t care about after-sale support
For us, the relationship doesn’t end once you’re handed the keys. We’re backed by an award-winning Client Services team that has supported our clients since the very beginning. We offer ongoing support and advice even after you’ve got your new car. We don’t just want your purchase, we want you coming back. If you’re happy to buy a car and never think about aftercare, you might not need what we bring to the table.
None of these apply to you? Fantastic! You’re already on the way to driving away in the car you dreamt of. Speak to our team of market experts to find out more about how we can help you.
